Privacy notice for the Officaid early access list
This notice explains what we do with the details you give us when you join the Officaid early access list for Malaysia. It is given under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. It is available in English and Bahasa Malaysia; if they differ, the English version prevails.
Who we are
Argus Asia Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore, makes Officaid and decides how your details are used. You can reach us about this notice, or about your details, at support@officaid.com.
What we collect
When you join the list: your name, work email, company name, team size, what you need first, whether you are an accountant or business partner, your consent choice, the language and page you signed up from, and the time. When you confirm your email, we record that too.
Why we use it
- To send you news about Officaid in Malaysia: what we are building, when you can try it, and an occasional short question about your business.
- To decide what to build first, from what members tell us they need.
We do not sell your details or share them with others for their marketing.
Who sees it
Our own team at Argus Asia, and Exabytes Network (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., which hosts our website server, only to do that work. Our own server sends our emails. Cloudflare runs our domain name service only and does not receive your details. We may disclose details where the law requires it.
Where we keep it, and for how long
In Singapore, on a server we control, hosted by Exabytes Network (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. If you never confirm your email, we delete your details after 30 days. Once confirmed, we keep them until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
- Joining is voluntary. Without a name and email we cannot add you to the list.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
- You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them, by writing to support@officaid.com. We answer within 21 days.
Changes
If we change this notice, we post the new version here with its date.
