Viewing Company Deals

Track all sales opportunities with a company in Officaid from one central view.

See every sales opportunity with a company at a glance

When you're managing multiple deals with the same company, it helps to see them all in one place. The company profile in Officaid brings together ongoing and closed deals, giving you a complete view of your sales history and current opportunities.

Where to Find Company Deals

Company deals appear in two places on the company profile:

  • Overview tab - A summary of ongoing deals and upcoming deal activities
  • Deals tab - The complete list of all deals, both active and closed

Deals on the Overview Tab

The Overview tab gives you a quick snapshot of sales activity:

Ongoing Deals:

Active deals are displayed as cards showing:

  • Deal name - The title of the deal
  • Stage badge - The current pipeline stage (e.g., Meeting Scheduled, Contacted)
  • Activity status - An Activity Overdue badge appears if follow-ups are past due
  • Deal value - The monetary value of the opportunity

Click on any deal card to open the full deal details in the Sales Pipeline.

Upcoming Deal Activities:

This section highlights deal-related tasks that need attention, showing activity type, deal name, due date, and how many days overdue if applicable. This helps you prioritize follow-ups across all deals with this company.

If you see an Activity Overdue badge on a deal, check the Upcoming Deal Activities section to see what needs your attention.

The Deals Tab

For a complete view of all sales activity, click the Deals tab on the company's profile. Here you'll find:

  • All deals associated with this company
  • Deal names and values
  • Current stage and status
  • Won and lost deals for historical reference

The Deals tab gives you a full history of your sales relationship, from the first opportunity to closed deals.

Understanding Deal Stages

Each deal displays a stage badge indicating where it sits in your sales pipeline. Stages vary based on your pipeline configuration but typically progress from initial contact through to closing.

The stage badge color helps you quickly identify where deals are in the process.

Deal stages are managed in the Sales Pipeline. See Understanding the Sales Pipeline to learn how stages work.

Creating a Deal for a Company

To create a new deal linked to this company:

  1. 1 Go to Sales → Pipeline
  2. 2 Click + Add New Deal
  3. 3 Select this company from the Company dropdown
  4. 4 Fill in the deal details
  5. 5 Click Save

The deal will automatically appear on the company's profile once created.

Deals are created in the Sales Pipeline, not from the company profile. See Adding a New Deal for detailed instructions.

How Deals Affect Company Badges

When a company has at least one deal or quotation, they receive a Lead badge. This helps you identify companies with active sales opportunities.

Once a company has an invoice, they receive a Client badge. Companies can have both badges if they're existing clients with new opportunities in progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not directly. Deals are created in the Sales Pipeline where you can set the stage, value, and other details. However, once created and linked to a company, they appear automatically on the company profile.

If a company has deals linked to it, Officaid will prevent deletion. You'll need to close or remove the deals before you can delete the company.

Deals only appear if they've been created in the Sales Pipeline and linked to this company. If no deals exist, the Ongoing Deals section will be empty.
