Viewing Contact Activities

See every interaction with a contact in Officaid to stay on top of your relationships.

Know exactly where every relationship stands

Every call, email, meeting, and message tells a story about your relationship with a contact. Officaid keeps track of all these interactions so you can see the full history at a glance and never wonder "When did I last speak to them?"

Where to Find Activities

Contact activities appear in two places on the contact profile:

  • Overview tab - A snapshot of upcoming and recent activities in the Activities panel
  • Activities tab - The complete list of all activities with filters and details

The Activities Panel (Overview Tab)

On the contact's Overview tab, the Activities panel shows a quick summary split into two sections:

  • Upcoming - Scheduled activities that haven't been completed yet
  • History - Past activities that have been marked as done

This gives you an instant view of what's planned and what's already happened without navigating away from the main profile.

The Activities Tab

For a complete view of all interactions, click the Activities tab on the contact's profile. Here you'll find:

  • Every activity logged for this contact
  • Activity type icons for quick scanning
  • Dates and completion status
  • Links to associated deals (if any)

The list displays activities in reverse chronological order, with the most recent at the top.

Activity Types

Officaid supports several activity types to categorize your interactions:

  • Call - Phone calls and voice conversations
  • Email - Email correspondence
  • Meeting - In-person or virtual meetings
  • Meal - Lunches, dinners, or coffee catch-ups
  • Message - Text messages, WhatsApp, or other messaging
  • Task - To-dos or action items related to the contact
  • Other - Any interaction that doesn't fit the above categories
Each activity type has its own icon, making it easy to scan the list and identify the type of interaction at a glance.
Activities aren't limited to contacts. You can also track activities on deals in the Sales Pipeline. See Tracking Deal Activities to learn more.

Filtering Activities

Use the filters at the top of the Activities tab to narrow down what you see:

  • Year - Filter by a specific year to review historical interactions
  • Status - Choose from All, Upcoming, Overdue, or Completed

These filters help you focus on what matters, whether that's checking overdue tasks or reviewing last year's meetings.

Activities Linked to Deals

When an activity is associated with a deal, you'll see the deal name displayed with the activity. Click the deal name to jump directly to that deal in the Pipeline.

This connection helps you track sales-related interactions alongside general relationship activities.

Activities can be linked to deals when they're created. See Adding an Activity for details on how to associate activities with deals.

Automatic Activity Logging

Some activities are logged automatically when you use Officaid's communication features:

  • Emails sent via the Send Email action are logged as Email activities
  • WhatsApp messages sent and marked as sent are logged as Message activities

This means you don't have to manually record every interaction. Use Officaid's built-in tools and your activity history builds itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Click on an activity to open its details, where you can edit the information or delete it. See Managing Activities for full instructions.

Activities only appear if they've been logged. If a contact has no activities, either no one has recorded any yet, or all communication happened outside of Officaid. Start logging activities to build your interaction history.

The Last Activity column on the Contacts list shows the date of the most recent completed activity. This helps you quickly identify contacts you haven't engaged with recently.
