See exactly what you owe before you submit
Before submitting statutory contributions, you want to know exactly how much is due for each employee. The Contributions tab in the Payroll module shows the full breakdown of employee and employer contributions, all calculated automatically based on your payroll data.
Accessing the Contributions Tab
- 1 Navigate to Team → Payroll.
- 2 Click the Contributions tab.
If you're following the payroll workflow from the Payroll or Payments tab, your Payslip Period selection carries over automatically. Otherwise, select the period and click Apply.
What You Will See
The Contributions tab shows:
- Employee name and employee code.
- ID showing the employee's identification number.
- Employee Contributions amount deducted from the employee's salary.
- Employer Contributions amount paid by the company on behalf of the employee.
- Status of the contribution submission.
- Actions to view the payslip.
Understanding the Amounts
Each row shows two contribution amounts:
- Employee Contributions are deducted from the employee's gross pay before calculating net pay. This is the employee's share.
- Employer Contributions are additional amounts the company pays on top of the salary. This may include multiple components depending on local requirements.
The total amount you submit is the sum of both employee and employer contributions for all selected employees.
Filtering the List
You can filter the Contributions tab by:
- Payslip Period to view a specific month.
- Status to see only Pending or Paid contributions.
