Send emails directly from Officaid and automatically log them as activities.

Reach out to contacts without leaving Officaid

Switching between apps to send an email breaks your flow. Officaid lets you compose and send emails directly from contact profiles, and automatically logs them as activities. One action, two results: your message gets sent and your engagement history stays complete.

How It Works

When you send an email from Officaid:

  • The email is sent to the contact's email address
  • The interaction is automatically logged as an Email activity
  • The activity appears on the contact's profile and in your Interactions dashboard

This integration eliminates the need to manually log emails you've sent, keeping your records accurate without extra effort.

Sending an Email

  1. 1 Navigate to the contact's profile
  2. 2 Click Send Email in the Quick Actions panel
  3. 3 Select an email from the dropdown or type an email address manually
  4. 4 Compose your message using the rich text editor
  5. 5 Review your message
  6. 6 Click Send to send the email

The email will be sent and an Email activity will be created automatically.

Add email addresses to your contact and company profiles so you don't have to type them manually each time. Saved emails appear in a dropdown for quick selection.

The Email Composer

The email composer includes a rich text editor with formatting options:

  • Bold, Italic, Underline - Text formatting
  • Bullet and numbered lists - Organize your content
  • Undo and redo - Fix mistakes easily

Write your message as you would in any email client. Keep it professional and personal to strengthen your relationship.

When to Use Email vs WhatsApp

Both channels are available in Officaid. Choose based on your relationship and context:

  • Email - Formal communication, detailed information, attachments, business proposals
  • WhatsApp - Quick check-ins, casual conversations, time-sensitive messages

Many professionals use both depending on the situation. Officaid logs both as activities, so your engagement history captures all touchpoints.

Automatic Activity Logging

When you send an email, Officaid automatically:

  • Creates an Email activity linked to the contact
  • Records the date and time of sending
  • Logs who sent the email for audit purposes
  • Updates the contact's Last Activity date
  • Warms up the contact if they were previously cold

You don't need to manually log the email. The activity is created as soon as you send it.

Sending Emails from Companies

You can also send emails from company profiles:

  1. 1 Navigate to the company's profile
  2. 2 Click Send Email in the Quick Actions panel
  3. 3 Select an email from the dropdown or type an email address manually
  4. 4 Compose and send your message

The email will be sent and logged as an activity against the company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You can add multiple email addresses to the "To" field. When sending from a company profile, the dropdown shows the company email and emails from linked contacts, and you can select as many as you need.

Officaid logs that an email was sent and creates an activity record. The email itself is sent through your configured email integration. Check your sent folder for the actual email content.

Yes. While saved emails appear in a dropdown for quick selection, you can type any email address manually. However, we recommend adding frequently used emails to profiles so you don't have to type them each time.
