Completing the OED Form

Fill in Occupational Employment Dataset details for MOM submissions directly from employee profiles in Officaid.

Submit employee data to MOM with ease

The Occupational Employment Dataset (OED) is a registry maintained by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) that collects occupational and employment data from workers in Singapore. This data supports labour market surveys and policy decisions. Officaid makes it easy to complete OED details for each employee, with most information prefilled automatically from your existing records.

The Regulatory Tab

Each employee profile has two tabs: Overview and Regulatory. The Regulatory tab is where you enter and view OED details for that individual employee.

  1. 1 Navigate to Team from the left sidebar.
  2. 2 Click Directory from the submenu.
  3. 3 Click on the employee whose OED details you want to complete.
  4. 4 Click the Regulatory tab at the top of the profile.

The OED form is organized into sections to make data entry straightforward. Many fields are prefilled from the employee's profile in Officaid.

Once you have reviewed and completed all the fields, click Save at the bottom of the form. Your OED information is now saved and ready for submission.

Information like wages, employee name, and department that you have entered elsewhere in Officaid is updated in real time on this form. You do not need to update the same information in multiple places.

Submitting OED to MOM

Completing the Regulatory tab prepares the data for submission. The actual submission to MOM happens through a separate process:

  1. 1 Navigate to Team from the left sidebar.
  2. 2 Click Regulatory from the submenu.
  3. 3 Select the employees you want to include in the submission.
  4. 4 Click to login with CorpPass.
  5. 5 Follow the prompts to submit to MOM.

As an approved One Stop Payroll (OSP) vendor, Officaid can submit OED data directly to MOM via API integration.

The Regulatory tab on an employee profile is for entering and viewing individual OED data. The Regulatory module under Team is for submitting data for multiple employees to MOM.

Keeping OED Data Current

MOM requires that OED information is kept up to date whenever there are changes to an employee's occupation or employment details. Since Officaid prefills data from your employee records, most updates happen automatically when you change information in the employee's profile.

Review the Regulatory tab when:

  • An employee's job title or duties change.
  • Working hours are adjusted.
  • An employee is hired, promoted, or leaves the company.
