Your Time-Based View of Business Operations
Officaid's Calendar pulls together scheduled activities and financial deadlines from across your business. Instead of checking the Sales module for upcoming calls and the Finance module for due invoices, you can see everything in one chronological view.
What Appears on the Calendar
The Calendar displays three types of events:
- Deal activities scheduled calls, emails, meetings, and other interactions linked to deals in your Sales Pipeline
- Outstanding invoices invoices you've issued that are due or overdue
- Outstanding payables bills you owe that are due or overdue
Each event type can be toggled on or off, letting you focus on what's relevant at the moment.
How Events Are Generated
Calendar events come from other Officaid modules automatically:
- When you schedule an activity on a deal, it appears on the Calendar
- When you create an invoice with a due date, that date shows on the Calendar
- When you record a payable with a due date, it appears as well
You don't add events to the Calendar directly. Instead, the Calendar reflects what's scheduled or due in your business data.
Event Colors and Display
Events appear as colored bars on the calendar grid. The color helps you identify the event type at a glance. Click on any event to see more details including its status, associated deal or record, and a link to view the full details.
Event Popup
When you click an event on the Calendar, a popup appears showing:
- Event title the name of the activity or description
- Status such as Pending for upcoming activities
- Related record the deal, invoice, or payable it's linked to
- Type indicator showing what kind of activity it is
- View button to navigate to the full details
Clicking View takes you to the relevant detail page, such as the Deal Details page for deal activities.
Calendar and Permissions
The events you see depend on your module access:
- Deal activities require access to the Sales module
- Outstanding invoices require access to the Finance module
- Outstanding payables require access to the Finance module
If you don't have access to a module, its events won't appear on your Calendar.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The Calendar displays events from other modules. To add an activity, go to the relevant deal in Sales → Pipeline and add it there. To add financial deadlines, create invoices or payables in Finance with due dates.
Check that you have data in the source modules. If you have no deals with scheduled activities and no outstanding invoices or payables, the Calendar will be empty. Also verify your module access permissions.
Officaid's Calendar is standalone and doesn't sync with external calendar applications. Use it alongside your personal calendar for complete coverage.
