Filtering Calendar Events

Control which events appear on your Officaid Calendar by toggling event types on and off.

Focus on What Matters Now

Not every event needs your attention at every moment. When you're focused on sales, you want to see deal activities. When you're managing cash flow, invoices and payables matter more. Calendar filters let you control exactly what appears, reducing noise and helping you concentrate on specific areas of your business.

Available Filters

The Calendar offers three event type filters:

Deal activities shows or hides scheduled activities from your Sales Pipeline
Outstanding invoices shows or hides invoices that are due or overdue
Outstanding payables shows or hides bills that are due or overdue

Each filter is a toggle that can be turned on or off independently.

Accessing Filter Controls

Filter controls appear on the right side of the Calendar navigation bar. Click the filter icon to open the filter panel, then toggle each event type on or off.

How Filters Work

When a filter is enabled, events of that type appear on the calendar. When disabled, those events are hidden. Filters affect both month view and list view.

For example:

Enable only Deal activities to focus on your sales schedule
Enable only Outstanding invoices and Outstanding payables to see financial deadlines
Enable all three to see your complete business calendar

Filter Combinations

Use filter combinations to focus on specific aspects of your business:

Sales planning: Enable Deal activities only
Cash flow management: Enable Outstanding invoices and Outstanding payables
Full visibility: Enable all filters
Invoice follow-up: Enable Outstanding invoices only

Start with all filters enabled to see your complete picture, then narrow down as needed for focused work.

Filter Persistence

Filter settings persist as you navigate through different months and switch between views. If you enable only Deal activities and then move to next month, you'll continue seeing only Deal activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I disable all filters?

The calendar will appear empty since no event types are selected to display. Enable at least one filter to see events.

Do filters affect what data exists?

No. Filters only control what's displayed. Your activities, invoices, and payables still exist in their respective modules regardless of filter settings.

Can I create custom filters?

The three filter types (Deal activities, Outstanding invoices, Outstanding payables) are fixed. Custom filters are not available.
