Viewing Network Insights

Monitor your contact relationships and identify opportunities to nurture leads with Officaid's network insights.

Keep Your Relationships Healthy

Your network is only as strong as your most recent interaction. Leads go cold, contacts forget who you are, and opportunities slip away when communication lapses. The Network section of your Insights dashboard helps you stay on top of your relationships by showing who needs attention and what activities are coming up.

Network Overview

The Network section displays two key metrics at the top:

  • Companies shows the total number of companies in your Network
  • Contacts shows the total number of individual contacts

These numbers give you a quick sense of the size of your network. Click on either metric to navigate to the full Network module.

Warm and Cold Contacts

Below the totals, you'll see your contacts categorized by relationship warmth:

  • Warm contacts have been contacted within the last 3 months
  • Cold contacts have had no contact for 9 or more months

This classification helps you identify relationships at risk of going stale. A high number of cold contacts suggests you may be losing touch with potential leads or existing relationships.

For more on contact warmth, see What Are Warm and Cold Contacts.

Warm Up the Relationship

The center panel shows a list of contacts who need attention. This "Warm up the relationship!" section displays contacts with their company, role, and last activity status. Contacts marked "Never Contacted" have no recorded interactions in Officaid.

Each contact row shows:

  • Contact name clickable to open their profile
  • Company name the organization they belong to
  • Role their position at the company
  • Last Activity shows their contact status

The Do Not Track Icon

Some contacts in the list display a snowflake icon with a slash. This indicates "Do Not Track" status. You can mark contacts as not tracked when they aren't leads or prospects you need to monitor, such as your own employees or personal contacts who aren't business relationships.

Click on a contact's name to open their profile. From there, you can send a message, log an activity, or adjust their tracking status.

Upcoming Network Activities

The right panel shows scheduled activities related to your network. These are interactions you've planned, such as calls, emails, meetings, or messages. Each activity displays:

  • Activity type indicated by an icon (call, email, meeting, etc.)
  • Status badge showing if it's upcoming or overdue
  • Activity title describing the interaction
  • Contact name the person involved
  • Date when the activity is scheduled
  • Assigned user who is responsible

Click on any activity to open a slide-out panel where you can view details, update the activity, mark it as done, or delete it.

Overdue activities appear with a red "Overdue" badge and show how many days past due they are. Address these first to keep your relationships on track.

Taking Action from Network Insights

The Network section is designed for quick action:

  • Click a contact name to open their profile and send a message or log an activity
  • Click an activity to update or complete it
  • Click the company count or contact count to view your full Network

Frequently Asked Questions

Warm contacts have at least one logged activity within the last 3 months. Cold contacts have no activities logged for 9 or more months. Contacts between 3-9 months without activity fall into a neutral state.

Use this for contacts who aren't business leads, such as employees, vendors you don't need to nurture, or personal contacts. This prevents them from appearing in the "Warm up the relationship" list.

This indicates no activities have been logged for this contact in Officaid. The contact exists in your Network but has no recorded interactions.
