Find What You Need, Fast
The Tasks module is designed for quick access to your work. Whether you're looking for overdue items, checking on a colleague's progress, or reviewing completed work, the interface makes it easy to find what you need and take action.
Accessing the Tasks Module
To open the Tasks module:
- 1 Click Workspace in the left sidebar
- 2 Click Tasks in the Workspace submenu
You can also create a task from the Insights dashboard using the Quick Actions panel, which opens the task form without navigating to the full module.
The Tasks List View
The main Tasks view shows a list of all tasks in your organization. Each row displays:
- Checkbox to quickly mark a task complete
- Due Date (or Closed Date for completed tasks)
- Task Title the name of the task
- Priority shown as a colored badge (Low, Medium, High, Urgent)
- Status the current state (Not Started, In Progress, On Hold, Completed)
- Assigned To the responsible team member
- Delete icon to remove the task
On Going vs Completed Tabs
The Tasks module has two main tabs:
- On Going shows tasks that haven't been completed yet
- Completed shows tasks that have been marked as done
Click each tab to switch between views. By default, you'll land on the On Going tab to focus on active work.
Filtering Completed Tasks
The Completed tab includes additional filtering options:
- Year selector filter by a specific year
- All shows all completed tasks for the selected year
- Custom allows you to select a custom date range
These filters help you find historical tasks without scrolling through extensive lists.
Opening a Task
Click on any task row to open the Task Details page. From there, you can view all information about the task, add comments, update the status, or make changes.
Quick Completion
For simple tasks that just need to be marked done, use the checkbox on the left side of each row. Clicking the checkbox marks the task as completed without opening the full detail view.
Adding a New Task
Click the + Add New Task button in the top right corner to create a new task. This opens a slide-out panel where you can enter task details.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Tasks module displays all tasks in your organization. Look at the Assigned To column to identify your tasks.
The Give Feedback button allows you to submit feedback about the Tasks module to the Officaid team. Use it to report issues or suggest improvements.
When you mark a task as Completed (either by checkbox or by changing status), it automatically moves from the On Going tab to the Completed tab.
