Everything you need in one place
My Desk is your personal command center in Officaid. Instead of navigating to different modules to check your leave balance, view a payslip, or track a claim, everything is right here on a single dashboard. See your information at a glance and take action with just a few clicks.
Accessing My Desk
- 1 Click Me from the left sidebar.
- 2 Select My Desk from the submenu.
Your personal dashboard loads with all your information organized into sections.
Your Profile Card
At the top of My Desk, you will see your profile card displaying:
- Name and Designation (job title)
- Employee Code and Work Email
- Work Phone and Department
- Date of Birth, Grade, and Join Date
This information is managed by HR. If anything is incorrect, contact your HR team to update it.
Quick Actions
The Quick Actions panel gives you shortcuts to common tasks:
- Update Profile opens a form to update your personal information and change your password.
- Apply Leave opens the leave application form.
- New Claim opens the expense claim submission form.
Leave Section
The Leave section shows your leave balances at a glance:
- Leave Types configured by your company (e.g., Annual Leave, Sick Leave)
- Entitled shows your total entitlement
- Balance shows how many days you have remaining
- Taken shows how many days you have used
Click Apply Leave to submit a new leave request directly from this section.
Recent Requests
The Recent Requests panel shows your latest leave requests with:
- Type of leave (Annual, Sick, Unpaid, etc.)
- Dates of the leave period
- Status showing Approved, Rejected, or Pending
- Actions with an eye icon to view details
Click the eye icon to open the Leave Request Details popup showing the full information including leave reason and balance at time of request.
Claims Section
The Claims section displays your expense claim activity:
- Total Approved (YTD) shows your total approved claims for the year
- Pending Claims shows claims awaiting approval
- Chart visualizing your claim amounts by month
- Claims List showing Date, Claim Type, Amount, and Status
Click any claim to open the Claim Request Details popup. This shows the expense information, receipt, approval details, and history.
Payslips Section
The Payslips section gives you access to your salary history:
- Total Net Pay (YTD) shows your total take-home pay for the year
- Chart visualizing your net pay by month
- Payslips List showing Pay Period Start, Pay Period End, and Net Pay
Click any payslip to open the Pay Slip Details page with full earnings and deductions breakdown, employer contributions, and a PDF preview. You can download the PDF or save it to Google Drive.
Everything is Connected
My Desk pulls information from across Officaid:
- Leave balances update when HR configures your entitlements or approves requests.
- Claims appear here when you submit them and update when they are approved or paid.
- Payslips appear once your company processes payroll for the period.
You do not need to refresh or sync. Changes made anywhere in Officaid reflect automatically on your dashboard.
Frequently Asked Questions
Employment information is managed by HR. Contact your HR team to update details like job title, department, or grade. You can update personal information (name, email, phone) through the Update Profile quick action.
The Leave section displays leave types configured by your company. If you expect to see a leave type that is not shown, check with your HR team about your leave entitlements.
Yes. The Payslips section shows your complete payslip history. Scroll through the list to find payslips from previous months.
