Everything about your leave at a glance
The Overview tab in My Leaves brings together your leave balances, recent requests, upcoming time off, and the team calendar. Each section gives you quick access to the information you need without digging through menus.
Accessing the Overview Tab
- 1 Navigate to Me → My Leaves.
- 2 Click the Overview tab (selected by default).
Leave Balances Section
The Leave Balances section shows a table with:
- Type listing each leave type available to you (Annual, Sick, etc.).
- Entitled showing your total allocation for the period.
- Used showing how many days you have taken.
- Balance showing your remaining days.
This is your quick reference for checking if you have enough leave before submitting a request.
Recent Requests Section
The Recent Requests section displays your latest leave requests with:
- Type of leave requested.
- Date or date range of the leave.
- Duration showing the number of days.
- Status badge (Approved, Rejected, Pending).
Click any row to open the Leave Request Details popup showing the full information including your leave reason and balance at time of request.
Upcoming Section
The Upcoming section shows approved leaves that are scheduled for the future:
- Type of leave.
- Date when the leave starts.
- Duration of the leave.
- Actions with options to view details.
This helps you keep track of what time off you have coming up.
Leave Calendar Section
The Leave Calendar shows a visual calendar displaying:
- Your approved leaves marked on the calendar.
- Team members' leaves so you can see who else is off.
- Public holidays highlighted for easy reference.
The calendar has two views:
- Calendar View shows a traditional monthly calendar layout.
- List View shows leaves in a day-by-day list format.
Toggle between views using the icons in the top right of the calendar section.
Navigating the Calendar
To move through the calendar:
- Click < to go to the previous month.
- Click > to go to the next month.
- Click Today to jump back to the current date.
Viewing Leave Request Details
When you click on a leave request in Recent Requests or Upcoming:
- 1 Click the row or the eye icon.
- 2 The Leave Request Details popup opens.
- 3 Review the details including Type, Status, Dates, Total Days, Leave Balance, and Leave Reason.
- 4 Click Close to return to the Overview.
Frequently Asked Questions
Leave types are configured by your HR team. If no leave types appear, your entitlements may not have been set up yet. Contact your HR team to check your leave configuration.
The Recent Requests section shows your most recent requests. For a complete history of all your leave requests, click the All Leaves tab.
In the Leave Calendar section, look for the view toggle icons in the top right corner. Click the calendar icon for calendar view or the list icon for list view.
