See everything a supplier has delivered
When you record incoming stock against a vendor, Officaid keeps a running history of what that vendor has supplied. The vendor's Stock tab shows which items they delivered, how many, at what cost, and when you last received each one.
Before You Begin
The Stock tab appears on a vendor once at least one stock movement names that vendor. To link stock to a vendor:
- 1 Go to Sales → Items and open the item
- 2 Open the Stock Movements tab and click Add
- 3 Choose Stock In, enter the quantity and unit cost, and pick the Vendor
- 4 Save the movement
Opening a Vendor's Stock Tab
- 1 Go to Finance → Expenses and open the Vendors tab
- 2 Click the vendor to open its details
- 3 Open the Stock tab
Choose the period at the top: the current year, All, or Custom for your own date range.
What the Stock Tab Shows
Four cards summarise the period:
- Items Supplied – how many different items the vendor delivered
- Total Quantity Received – the units received across all items
- Total Cost – the value of the stock received
- Stock In – the number of stock-in movements
The Items Supplied table lists each item with its SKU, Total Supplied, Current Stock (with a Low Stock badge when it runs low) and Last Received date.
The History table lists every movement received from the vendor: Date, Item Name, Type, Quantity, Unit Cost, Total Cost and Note. Use its search to find a delivery quickly.
