Understanding My Leaves

Explore the My Leaves module in Officaid for managing your time off requests.

Your complete leave management hub

While My Desk gives you a quick snapshot of your leave, My Leaves is where you go for the full picture. Check your balances, see upcoming time off, browse the team calendar, and access your complete leave history all in one place.

Accessing My Leaves

  1. 1 Click Me from the left sidebar.
  2. 2 Select My Leaves from the submenu.

The My Leaves page opens with two tabs: Overview and All Leaves.

The Two Tabs

My Leaves is organized into two tabs for different purposes:

  • Overview shows your current leave snapshot: balances, recent requests, upcoming leaves, and the team calendar.
  • All Leaves shows your complete leave history with search and filter options.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab displays four sections:

  • Leave Balances shows your entitlement, used days, and remaining balance for each leave type.
  • Recent Requests lists your latest leave requests with their status.
  • Upcoming shows approved leaves coming up so you know what is scheduled.
  • Leave Calendar displays a calendar view of leaves and holidays.

All Leaves Tab

The All Leaves tab provides a comprehensive list of all your leave requests with:

  • Search to find specific requests.
  • Year Filter to view leaves from a specific year, all years, or a custom date range.
  • Status Filter to show only Pending, Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled requests.
  • Type Filter to filter by leave type (Annual, Sick, Unpaid, etc.).

Applying for Leave

You can apply for leave directly from My Leaves:

  1. 1 Click Apply Leave in the top right corner.
  2. 2 Complete the leave application form.
  3. 3 Submit your request.

This opens the same leave application form available from My Desk.

How My Leaves Connects to My Desk

My Leaves and My Desk show related information but serve different purposes:

  • My Desk provides a quick summary alongside your claims and payslips.
  • My Leaves offers deeper leave management with history, filters, and the team calendar.

Changes made in one place reflect in the other. Apply for leave from either location and it appears in both.

Go to Me → My Leaves and click the All Leaves tab. Use the filters to search by year, status, or leave type.
