Navigating the Overview Tab

Explore the four sections of the My Claims Overview in Officaid for a quick snapshot of your expenses.

Your claims at a glance

The Overview tab is your claims dashboard, designed to give you instant visibility into your expense reimbursements without digging through records. Four distinct sections show you everything you need to know.

Claims Summary

The Claims Summary section appears in the top left and shows your total claims grouped by status. You'll see the count and total amount for Pending, Approved, and Paid claims.

Click on any status row to filter and view just those claims. This is a quick way to see, for example, all your pending claims awaiting approval.

The Claims Summary shows your all-time totals, not just the current period. Use the All Claims tab with date filters if you need to see claims from a specific timeframe.

Recent Requests

The Recent Requests section in the top right displays your latest claim submissions. Each row shows the date, claim type, amount, and current status.

This gives you a quick view of what you've recently submitted without switching tabs. Click on any row to open the full claim details.

Pending

The Pending section in the bottom left shows all claims still awaiting approval. This is where you can take action on claims that haven't been processed yet.

Each pending claim displays the date, your remarks, the amount, and action buttons. You can:

  • Click the edit icon to request changes to the claim
  • Click the delete icon to cancel the claim
Once a claim is approved or paid, it can no longer be edited or cancelled. Make sure your details are correct while the claim is still pending.

Claims by Category

The Claims by Category section in the bottom right breaks down your claims by claim type. You'll see the count and total amount for each category, such as Health Expenses, Transport/Travel Expenses, and Meals & Entertainment Expenses.

This view helps you understand how your expenses are distributed across different categories.

Frequently Asked Questions

If the Pending section shows "No pending claims", all your submitted claims have already been processed. They've either been approved, paid, rejected, or cancelled. Check the Recent Requests section or All Claims tab to see their current status.

The Overview tab shows all-time totals and recent activity. To filter by specific dates, switch to the All Claims tab and use the date filters. You can select a year, view all claims, or set a custom date range.

Find the claim in the Pending section on the Overview tab. Click the edit icon (pencil) to modify the claim details, or click the delete icon (trash) to cancel it. Both actions are only available while the claim is still pending.
