Fix mistakes before approval
Spotted an error after submitting your claim? As long as it's still pending, you can request changes to correct the details. Once a claim is approved, it can no longer be edited.
When You Can Edit
Claims can only be edited while they have a Pending status. Once a claim moves to Approved, Paid, Rejected, or Cancelled, the edit option is no longer available.
How to Edit
- 1 Navigate to Me → My Claims and go to the Overview tab.
- 2 Find your claim in the Pending section.
- 3 Click the edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column.
- 4 The Request Edit modal opens with your current claim details.
- 5 Make your changes to the relevant fields.
- 6 Click Save to update the claim.
What You Can Change
The edit modal allows you to modify:
- Claim Type to recategorize the expense
- Expense Date to correct the date
- Amount to fix the claimed value
- Currency to change the expense currency
- Remarks to update your description
What You Cannot Change
The Receipt cannot be changed once a claim is submitted. If you uploaded the wrong receipt, you'll need to cancel the claim and submit a new one with the correct documentation.
Foreign Currency Edits
If you're editing a claim submitted in a foreign currency, you'll see the conversion rate and converted amount fields. Changing the currency will update these values accordingly.
After Editing
Your edited claim remains in the Pending status and continues waiting for approval. The approver will see your updated details when they review the claim.
