Changing Your Language

Use Officaid in English, Bahasa Melayu, 中文 (简体) or தமிழ். The choice is yours alone: colleagues keep their own.

Use Officaid in your own language

Officaid speaks Singapore's four official languages. Each person picks the language they want to work in: English, Bahasa Melayu, 中文 (简体) or தமிழ். Menus, screens, buttons, messages and list tables appear in that language, and dates are written the way that language writes them.

Choosing Your Language

  1. 1 Click your name at the top right and choose Settings.
  2. 2 Open the Language list.
  3. 3 Pick English, Bahasa Melayu, 中文 (简体) or தமிழ். There is no Save button: Officaid switches to that language straight away.
To go back, open Settings the same way and choose English. The Settings link stays in the same place in every language.

What Changes, and What Stays the Same

  • Only for you. The language is a personal setting. Colleagues in the same company keep their own choice, so one person can work in Chinese while another works in English.
  • Dates follow the language, for example 28 Okt 2026 in Bahasa Melayu or 2026年10月28日 in Chinese.
  • Documents you issue stay in English. Invoices, quotations and payslips are written in English whichever language you use on screen.
  • Official names stay as they are. GST, CPF, IRAS and UEN read the same in every language.
Your records are the same in every language. Switching languages changes only how Officaid's own words appear on your screen, never the names, amounts or notes you entered.
