Officaid in your pocket, with nothing to install
Officaid works in your phone's browser. Open it in Safari, Chrome or any modern browser, sign in with your usual email and password, and you are working with the same account and the same data as on your computer. There is nothing to download or install. The pages rearrange themselves for the screen you are on, whether that is a phone, a foldable or a tablet.
Signing In on Your Phone
- 1 Open your phone's browser and go to app.officaid.com.
- 2 Enter your Email and Password.
- 3 Tick Keep me logged in if this is your own phone, so you do not have to sign in every time.
- 4 Tap Login.
You land on the same dashboard you see on your computer. Tap the menu icon (three lines, top left) to open the menu and move between modules. Your initials at the top right open your profile.
Add Officaid to Your Home Screen
For one-tap access, add a shortcut to your home screen. It opens Officaid in your browser, signed in as you.
- iPhone or iPad (Safari): open app.officaid.com, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Android (Chrome): open app.officaid.com, tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen, then Add.
What Staff Do on the Phone
My Desk (under Me) is built for quick checks between tasks:
- Apply for leave: tap Apply Leave in Quick Actions, pick the leave type and the dates, add a reason and tap Submit Leave Request. Your balance is shown before you submit.
- Claim an expense: tap New Claim, choose the claim type, date and amount, then tap Select File under Receipt. Your phone offers to take a photo or pick one from your photos, so you can snap the receipt on the spot. Tap Submit Claim and it goes to your manager.
- See your payslips: scroll My Desk to Payslips and tap a month to open the payslip, with your earnings, deductions and net pay.
- Follow your requests: Recent Requests shows each leave request and claim as Pending, Approved or Rejected. You can still edit or cancel a pending request.
What Managers and Owners Do on the Phone
- Approve requests: open Team → Claims or Team → Leaves, tap a request under Pending Approvals, check the details (a claim shows its receipt), then tap Approve and Confirm. An approved claim is ready to pay in Finance straight away.
- Look someone up: Team → Directory lists everyone; tap a name for their profile.
- Check an invoice: Finance → Income lists your invoices with their due dates. Tap one to see the amount due, send it by email or record a payment.
- Keep up with sales: Network → Contacts puts every client's phone and email a tap away, and Sales → Pipeline shows your deals by stage.
Tips for Small Screens
- Wide tables (invoice lists, payroll) scroll sideways: swipe the table left to see the remaining columns.
- Turn your phone sideways, or open Officaid on a tablet or an unfolded foldable, to see more columns at once.
- Larger jobs such as running payroll, reconciling a bank statement or reading reports are easier on a computer, and everything you start on one device is waiting on the other.
