Viewing Your Leave Requests

Track the status of your leave requests and view approval details in Officaid.

Track your time off requests at a glance

Once you submit a leave request, you want to know what happens next. My Desk keeps you informed with a clear view of all your requests and their current status, so you always know whether your leave has been approved, is still pending, or was rejected.

Where to Find Your Leave Requests

Your leave requests appear in the Recent Requests section of My Desk. This panel shows your most recent requests with key details at a glance.

  1. 1 Navigate to Me → My Desk.
  2. 2 Look for the Recent Requests panel on the right side of the dashboard.

What You Will See

The Recent Requests panel shows:

  • Type of leave (Annual, Sick, Unpaid, etc.)
  • Dates of the leave period
  • Status badge showing Approved (green), Rejected (red), or Pending (yellow)
  • Actions column with an eye icon to view details

Leave Request Statuses

Each request has one of the following statuses:

  • Pending means your request is awaiting review by your manager or HR.
  • Approved means your request has been accepted and the leave is confirmed.
  • Rejected means your request was not approved. Check the details for any notes.

Viewing Leave Request Details

To see the full details of a request:

  1. 1 Find the request in the Recent Requests panel.
  2. 2 Click the eye icon in the Actions column.
  3. 3 The Leave Request Details popup opens.

The popup displays:

  • Employee Name and Type of leave
  • Status badge (Approved, Rejected, or Pending)
  • Start Date and End Date
  • Total Days requested
  • Leave Balance at the time of the request
  • Leave Reason you provided

Click Close to return to My Desk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Navigate to Me → My Leaves to see a complete history of all your leave requests with filtering options.

Cancellation options depend on your company's settings. Check with your HR team about how to cancel or modify a pending request.

Review the Leave Request Details for any notes from your approver. You may need to discuss the reason with your manager or apply for a different leave type or dates.
